Parting Auto box from engine

Hi All,

Im struggling to remove an auto gearbox from a V6 granada engine, Im in the middle of backing it off with bolts but it just doesn't feel right. Ive obviously removed all the bolts and the starter and all the tubes and wires. What am I doing wrong? Or is it meant to be this difficult?

have you undone the metal plate from the box? the one that stops crap getting into the gubbins by the sump. I snapped mine by pulling too hard!

Unbolt the torque convertor from the mounting plate , normally three or four nuts undone through the starter hole or possibly an access hole in the engine to gearbox plate.
