bike engine diamensions?

Does any one have the width+height+depth of a 1000cc bike engine eg, R1, Blade, etc.

I put the 2 models on top of each other in solidworks & they agree reasonably well (one of us is 1/2 inch out on the gearbox mounting holes...). I suspect solidworks will run a lot quicker with my model but the results will look prettier with the other....
There must be a good week's work in the dpcars model, c.f. an hour on mine....

Has he modelled an R1 engine as well then Bob? I thought his model was of a busa engine, which could explain the mountings being different

Certainly looks like it Chris - Incredible detail on some of the parts, but looks like he got bored with the carbs.... I don't know the busa engine so I can't really say..

Does anyone know how much different a hayabusa engine is to a GSXR 1000 one (externally)

The dp cars hayausa model is great but it differs to my (admittedly rough) gsxr 1000 one significantly in certain areas. That could be because my modeling is crap, or it could be that its because its a completely different engine case.

which one would be best to use?
