Gear indicators??

i'm looking for a gear indicator now, are there any prefrences to make/model. does anyone use them

Personally I wouldn't bother... you soon learn to remember what gear you're in...

Don't know about the pro jobs but there's a DIY (PIC microprocessor based) version on the electronics page of my website....

If you're tracking the car it's damned important as it makes it one less thing to be concerned about... the Acumen ones are purported to be the dogs danglies! Looking at Chris's answer below... we had a Datatool one and it was a pain in the anus. Having said that we got it for very little but if it doesn't work it doesn't work...

I've got an Acumen one on mine, does the job, simple fit and large enough display. Theres a load on ebay in a couple of colours I think.

ive got a geartronics version on my busa, ordered with with the correct length loom with no extra charge, facility for electric reverse display and only 10 mins to fit, expensive but faultless.
