I've got a 2ltr pinto and going by the burtons catalogue and engine number its age comes out at 1984.
Does anyone know if any OHC head gasket fit?
Cheers

You should be OK with a standard 2.0 SOHC head gasket. Usually more cost effective to buy a top end gasket set, which comes completed with all the
gaskets, seals etc needed for a top end overhaul.
You may find that your engine has the older style head bolts (hex head I think). Later engines were fitted with Tx head stretch bolts and if you buy
a gasket set it should come with the later type bolt. It is recomended to use the later type bolt and it's a drop in replacement. Just make
sure you follow the right tightneing and torquing sequence as it's different for the later type bolts.

I got my last set from Gaskets for classics. Superb service and price.
Im sure all of the 2.0 OHC gaskets will fit, may need to be for correct blaock - yours will be 205. When you get the set you may need to be more
specific. ie carb or injection etc.

Not upgrading but bought had a bit of Oil into water situation after I cocked up the last replacement by using a cheap head gasket set.
Now off the main dealer to get myself one that works.

Main stealer gaskets are suspect quality for older vehicles as they aren't a high turnover item.
Use Gaskets for Classics on eBay - I've had all my rebuild gaskets from them and the quality is superb. Bolts were about £8 IIRC and delivered
next day.

Or spend a little more money with Burton Performance and use a Felpro gasket which will clamp down thinner and give a compression of almost +0.5.....
