Its not a really odd size any more. Its what I had fitted to my 200SX's and is now a common size on a lot of medium saloons, BMW's 3
series, Audi A4, Vectra's, Mondeos etc.

its a standard size for an evo7 and up (might be 235 but they both fit), i may have two sitting outside

a 225 40 17 went for £12 on ebay. as you want one, might be an idea to look there.
i got a pair of brand new 225 40 17's for £110 delivered.
so the 45 version should be easy enough to find...
