Anyone Near Biggin Hill in Kent?

Hi All,

I am VERY keen to build an R1 powered Locost and I would like to have a look around someones Locost build near me to find out more info and to see a BEC Locost in the flesh. Is there anyone around how is willing to let me have a look and to have a chat?

Thanks,

Omni

I'm building an Avon with pinto engine if thats any use to you. Sorry its not a BEC but you might find it useful.

1st Sunday of the month is your 'local' meet. In the summer months it's usually at Newlands Corner, Guildford.

Cheers,
James

Thanks all for the replies so far :-)

Surrey Dave I would love to see your book built one as I will be using the book to build mine. How many hours did it take and what was the rough cost if you don't mind me asking?

Ayoungman. That is one HELL of a shiney engine you have there! lol

1st Sunday of the month. I will have to keep that in my diary for next month.

Humbug your Stuart Taylor looks very nice indeed!

Many thanks again all.

Thanks everyone for the offers :-)

I met up with Mark today and had a blast in his Locost and I am now hooked.

I am going to get my chassis table ready and get my steel ordered. I am going to use the new "Build Your Own Sports Car: On a budget" which was released in Feb 2007.

I can't wait to get going now

Cheers Mark
