Another MAC#1 ZR Ready For The Road

Hi All

Just a quick note to say that my MAC#1 ZR passed SVA today first time.

A few minor tweeks were needed - 2 cable to secure some wires and a quick twist on the steering rack to help self centering. All in all - it was all over and done and the certificate was in my hand within 2 hours.

It’s been a great journey building the car, lots of highs and smiles and thank fully not that many lows. Mark and Col at MAC#1 have been outstanding right from me ordering my chassis to the final moment’s right before SVA. The true “one-stop-kit-car-shop”. How they have put up with me and my blonde moments is beyond me.

I did have so many things that I wanted to say…. but now I have come to writing the post my fingers have gone dry. So I will now stop rambling and attach some pictures of the car at Nottingham SVA which will hopefully say more word than I can.

Onwards and upwards – DVLA man here I come.

Well done mate, I was the guy you met at the sva centre (watch those toes !)

It's nice to watch someone else being a bag of nerves - brought back memories (or nightmares ??).

Take your time and enjoy

PS.

Couldn't resize the pics could you - I've only got a 19" monitor !

Hey Rich,

How are you ?

Heard your car's a bit on the quick side

Look at the top right hand corner of the pic, see the floating blue arch ??

Recognise them ??

You been in my garage only jokeing yeah mate some fussy git asked for a new pair as they had a small mark or two on them. As for the worx RR well she,s a bit nippy i'll tell you, seen 69mph in 1st and 120 on my personal test track, proper quick but very torquey, it pulls 6th smoothly from 25 mph
