Panhard location

Just wondered, does it matter which side of axle you connect the panhard bar to i.e. left or right - if it matters, why?

Panhard attachment

The panhard chassis attachment end should always be on the left hand side to counter troque reactions.

Sorry - just woken up from my afternoon nap so mind not working too well at the moment - I think you're right but can't work out how it counters torque reaction if it's parellell to the axle and jointed at each end?
