Zetec Source
Anyone got any tips as to the best place to source a Zetec engine..? Ideally a blacktop as the sump works better for my install.. but if all fails,
a late silver top would suffice.
Any good ebay shops?

Best place (assuming you have the space and time) is to buy a running mondeo/escort for £500 ish from the small ads and then sell lights+trim
etc etc on ebay. Finally weigh in the shell. If you're lucky you get a known good engine for 'free'.

Well i bought mine for my first car from a local breakers yard. What MIGHT kill you with ebay is the delivery charge unless you can find one nearby to
collect.
Still, you might get lucky and even with delievery charges it still works out pretty cheap. Lot to be said for not having to collect one in your own
car - weight, oil etc - worth a small premium i'd say (having carried a 110kg zetec in a tintop before!!)
