Locust 7 - Alternative Designs

I know the Lotus 7 design is a classic. Its simple but instantly recognizable. Ive seen some companies have various designs based on the idea. Nothing too out the different, but still recognizable as a Lotus 7.

But are there any companies making alternative bodywork? Something completely different from the 7 design? Ie, a full bodied design. I see Dutchman has styled something in 3d. Do any kits exist like that?

Sorry if it sounds a stupid and amatureish question, but it would be interesting to know

in a similar search i started this thread about this full bodied westfield, i'm building a regular 7 now but I still really really like the design, but only in red curiously. the yellow one sucks.

This isn't a standeard 7 chassis either but theyou could do this kind of body on a 7 i reckon

Have a look at the Stylus, based on the same chassis as the Striker

or based on (almost) seven chassis:

Phoenix (now by Rainbird Racing)

Fisher Fury

GTS Challenger

Toniq R are apparently going to do bodies for other Locost chassis

HRB Automotive (maybe)

Ex-Tiger Storm alleged to be preparing for a comeback

It seems RAW is developing a full body kit for their Striker. Looks promising.

It's a 70's era Corvette! I think those DID come to our side of the Atlantic at one time.

shares some lines, but very different from the corvette.

I'm a fan of th Opal GT, I believe it was designed by the smae person that did the corvette stingray.

The front looks good, but what does the back look like.
