Well you are past the first hurdle!!!

The thing to keep in mind if the docs thought there was no point they would not have operated so it is good news in a way.

Chin up. There will some tough times ahead but I'm sure you'll get through all of that.

Liam,
We all seem to know someone nowadays who has been affected with cancer and without a doubt there will be some tough times ahead... BUT, and it's a big BUT! You can get through it and will get through it, keep us posted with progress and good luck with the next stages of chemo etc

All the best,

Steve and Milenah and Rowdy!

Edited to add: And please, please, don't choose this week to try and beat your bar-bending record!!!

Heh Liam, Thought I'd stick a post on here too- my sister went through a terrible time with cancer and revealed herself to be an incredibly strong person who loved life and is sticking with it. She really valued the support of everyone around her so if you are feeling abit beaten up just scroll through the list of well wishers on here!

Here's to a quick recovery!

It's amazing what can happen nowadays with modern medicine and a positive attitude....

I'll go round my local roundabout (sideways) a few extra times in your honour next time I'm out in the Locopan.... Some good luck sacrificial tyre smoke....

Same here Liam. Everything is crossed for speedy recovery. Lets hope this hiccup on your new life is over soon and you enjoy the future. As said before, although i dont have direct experience. i believe recovery is proportional to your outlook on life. Positive is the way to go.

And remember - nobody wants to look like ianK for longer than necessary

No laughing till you heal a bit.

Good luck with the recovery Liam - and if you're interested have a look at NLP for helping with cancer as it can make a huge difference in recovery. U2U me if you need more info.
