Lockable Fuel Filler

Fuel filler on ebay.

Bought one. To make SVA compliant fit a suitably sized washer/plug into filler pipe to prevent anything other than unleaded being used.

Err.. pretty sure that isn't an SVA requirement... <cue: Argument>

but anyway, Nice looking filler! and cheap too! I like the angled neck- could come in very handy for some. Just noticed it's vented too!

The filler restrictor is a requirement if the vehicle is fitted with a catalytic converter.

Might not need one, the green bit and that it comes from Italy may mean it's unleaded only anyway.

Since you can't actually buy leaded anymore it amazes me that the manufacturers don't update their aerocap/monza designs. They could use all the old stock for diesel kitcars

Err think you meant that the other way round...

Thanks matt for clarifying the restrictor issue, obviously doen't effect a lot of us (although I have fitted a restrictor anyway)
