tdi prob / anyone got a vag com?

Bit of a long shot I know but I'm having problems with my tintop (vw tdi not starting from cold).

Anyone near Guildford got a vag com and willing to help/read my ecu?
Or got any suggestions for my problem?
Basically vw pd tdi not starting when cold. Initially suspected glow plugs but apparantly more likely a glow plug relay or temp sensor fault following a search on a vw forum.

Ned.

have a search around on here you should get an answer pretty quickly... best of luck.

Slightly off topic, but have a look in your fuse box and make sure the relay with 109 on it is grey and upsidedown - this is the main power relay and the cause of 'tdi sudden death' not one to be experienced on the motorway - £15 for the 'good' one.

thanks guys, got the temp sensor to fit tonight.

also managed to order a retro fit cruise control kit today! apparantly all mk4 tdi's have it as standard, you just need the stalk, loom and someone to unlock the funcitonality in the ecu to get it working!

cheers,

Ned.

ps for anyone interested changed the sensor last night and it started on the button this morning
