OK Chaps, I'm back :)
Hello again. 
After a house move, with building alterations  I'm finally ready for "build phase 2" .....and yes, it's Orange 
A couple of pics below show where I'm up to. A couple of questions if you don't mind?
Firstly, plumbing the R1 5pw. I would like some pointers on rad (polo) mounting and hose sizes, etc. Is there a standard set up for this? Where is the
best place for hoses?
My other concern here is also the R1 thermo housing, this looks to be in the way of the bonnet, I'm sure I've seen an alternative position
for it ?
Body side panels. Has anybody fitted them on the outside of the chassis as in my pic? I haven't fitted the main tub yet, so wondered if the edge
will go over the sides if fitted like this ?
Also, and hints on main tub fitting and cutouts round roll bar etc ?
Those should get me back into it if anyone can help Pics much appreciated 
Anybody local to Southport ?

Do a search for the cooling layout it's been done quite a bit.
My bonnet hit the 'stat so I moved it and made some 1" box section upstands / rubber lined P clips to suport the hoses, instead of
supporting the 'stat.

I work in Southport, lived there for nearly 20 years and my parents still do.

Hi,
good to have you back
I think you'll be ok on the stat houing,
it's close, but mine just clears the bonnet.
chockymonster's site shows how he moved
his if it's necessary. He's also got a cooling
pipe layout on there.
I was going to put my inner panels on the
outside as well. I think they will fit ok, they
have to go under the tub lip anyway, but
I decided they would be too much of a
dust trap on the round tube.
As for cutting the tub, same advice as
normal, measure 10 times, measure again,
cut less than you think, measure again,
cut a bit more... it'll still be wrong- but
only you will know!!

Id put the panels on the inside the round tube is nice but from a metre or so away when the panels fitted on the inside they look really nice. As for
cutouts just take it really slow bit by bit. My dads been making templates for the last 3 weekends - yes hes mental
Millemg do you mind if i ask a question? how did you connect your fuel pump to the bikes harness and how what did you connect the neutral switch
with?

Hi
It is very tight but I have the same engine (but older chassis) and was able to fit under the bonnet. The alternative is I think to cut the metal pipe
that links it to the head and join with hose to remote location of choice

And yes, the house move went smoothly enough, so much so there was a bit of cash left to buy myself a little shopping car, just like her Yaris, but
