I Love The Smell of Napalm In The Morning...
Flipping heck... was out in the garden and had to duck as a Chinook went overhead.
I swear it was just clearing the trees.
Wonder what they're up to?

Ah... I'm just the other side of the hill in Haddington!
A couple of jets have just gone over as well.... are we being invaded or something?

I've been told they use my village as a sighting point when training, I believe they use the area of "white" space on the east coast
because it's relatively uninhabited. Check out the link... You'll see what I mean...

Ha... they'll have to send more than a Chinook and a couple of Jets if they want it back!
They'll never take me alive (my mum said she won't let them!).

We had 2 Hawk trainers fly overhead this morning. Never seen that type in the sky before.

What, is she saving the last bullet for you?

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

White space - isn't that what some Highland farmer referred to as "MAMBA"?
(Mamba = Miles And Miles of Bugger All)

I often see Chinooks and fighter jets of some description flying up the M74 corridor and across the valley from Abington to Leadhills.
That road is quite high up the valley side and they fly along beneath you, which is quite an experience.

You've not seen the Red Arrows flying then?

I was working on a roof in the surrey quays area while Bush was in town, one morning I heard a copter coming quite close, I looked up to see an apache
going close, the pilots must have been spooked by my apearance as they made a sharp left turn towards me and dropped behind a building opposite, they
then 'popped up' about two hundred yards pointing straight at me !!! All I could do was smile and show them what was in my work bag, not a
lot else I could do really, they waited a few secs then carried on.Same time next day Air force 1 flew over !!

Well as a follow up - I was fed up yesterday evening and took a blast along pretty much the only road across that area from Duns to Gifford. It was
great. Absolutely "MAMBA". The only downside was slowing down for a cattle grid and hearing the rear wheel creaking... Odd I though so
pulled over and checked the nuts. Two were tight - two could be turned in my fingers. Needless to say they were tightened and all the others checked
but those were the only loose!
Great blast never then less.
