hydralic Brake Light Switch

hi,

one of the terminals has broken off my brake light switch so i need to find another one.

anyone have one going spare for a few pounds?

Check out your local motor factors/ car accessory shop. You will need to know if it has imperial or metric threads or what donor it came from. Shouldn't be too much for a new one. If you get stuck , as a temporary repair solder a piece of wire to the broken terminal.

Another place to look as i've discovered is forklift engineers.

I started working in a forklifts parts store and discovered thats what they use both for lights and and to stop the 'box going into drive with a foot on the brake! although ours are all imperial and instead of a male spade have like a flattened nipple a female spade will slide onto.

Car builder Solutions about 6 quid plus del. Imperial has a straight thread/ washer and the metric is a taper/ptfe tape
