Rover 45 with alloys + 4 new Pirelli

2001 Rover 45 1.8ixf

4 New Pirelli 195/55/15 tyres were fitted to the car about 3 DAYS before a suspected head gasket failure last week so have done only a few miles!! (fancy that - a K series with the head gasket gone...)

102,000 miles on the clock,
MOT to June 09
no tax

Generally good condition otherwise - you can see a small dent on the drivers door in the pics.

Sister in law (who owns it) has already replaced it so is really just looking to recoup the cost of the tyres - £300 secures the car but if you want to make an offer let me know - everything considered!

Contact me or reply on here in the first instance, I'll put you in contact with my sister in law or brother as I'd rather not stick their email addresses or phone numbers up on the 'net!

Ever get the feeling you set the price too low...

Sold, with probably the most enquiries I've had on a car!

There was a similar car and of a similar age on Ebay a week or so back. It also had suspected HGF and it went for £850!!

oh bollocks. I hope my brother doesn't read that, he'll not be a happy bunny...

Still, at least the main objective (getting it off my Dad's drive before mum does him an injury) has been achieved

I have a workshop manual for a Rover 45 which I used to change the head gasket on mine. Previously advertised on here but no takers.

£6 plus postage if anybody's interested.
