Track Day Tyres

Hi Chaps,

I'm hoping to get my car on a few track days this year, and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a set of track day tyres - this would be for a second set of wheels and not used on the road.

Ta,
James

Have a look at this thread,

Tyre Choice

There was an interesting bit about maxsport tyres which are remoulds, aparently really grippy.

Or Colway F2s which I had on my phoenix last year they were excellent and IMHO not far off A032rs for grip.

What size are you looking for, if 13" then you can pick up pleanty of slicks or acb10s. I've just bought a set of kumho ecsta v70s which are meant to be as good as A032rs but as they were a funny size I got then even cheaper than the Colways.

Ithink I will go for the maxsports as dry tyres and keep my A-021s as wets. All I need now is another set of 14x6 wheels.
