seat mounting and raising them

Hi guys

What seat runners are peps using for grp bucket seats? Dual locking or only locking on one side?

Also do any of you raise the seats up slightly so the rear harness holes are more inline with the harness fixings on the chassis?

Thanks guys

Wolfie

The seatbelt fixings have to be 450mm above the reference plain which is silghtly higher than the bottom of your seat. I set mine at 500.

The belts the need to pass through the holes in the seat without touching the seat when you are sat in the car with belt on.

Otherwise seat becomes a structural component and needs proof of testing which you can't prove so it fails.
