r1 5pw intermittant high ideal speed

Hi all,

My indy has developed a bizarre idle problem. basically when it has warmed up i pull up at a junction it will idle at around 2000 rpm. if i leave it eventuslly it settles. Sometimes however it behaves itself? The throttle doesn't appear to be sticking. If I engage a gear I can bring the idle speed down with the clutch sometimes it stays down but sometimes it goes back up 2KrPM

Any ideas?

BTW I am running a power commander if that makes any difference?

TIA

The choke on the 5pw is managed by the water temp and coolant system, it may have some trapped air in the choke housing or a small split in the pipe that feeds it. I would start with the choke if you have never had issues before then go from there.
