Just read some old threads and still dont understand. I managed to get a photo uploaded to the archive but i cant get it into my avatar. Gone into control panel but dont know what to do there. Tried to type in the name into the avatar section and still nothing showing. Any help greatly received.

this is the picture you want to use. Its a little large, but to use it as an avatar, just right click it, properties, copy the address bit (ie the www.blah blah .jpg bit) and paste it into the avatar address box in the control panel. Even better, i'll shrink it and post it here for you, and use a smaller version?! we'll all love you for it
