Floor-panels-Tubing and IRS??????

Is it ok to use aluminium for the floor panels instead of steel sheet? Do I need to add any extra braces?
I saw some A arms at Harrogate that were not made from seamless tubing. What spec tubing is OK to use?
Has any one done Drawings for a IRS Chassis or am I on my own?

I want a nosecone and arches etc. that are the same as a pre-lit w*******d or C******m where is the best place to get them from?
Thanks.

I used 18 gauge steel for the floor,it saves having to drill holes for riveting and in my opinion is therefore a lot stronger and less likely to cause corrosion problems. The weight of the floor is not that great and if ally was substituted it would need to be thicker 16g and would only save maybe a third of the weight.
I bought 6 metres of seamless tubing from a steel stock holder for about £20.
my rear links are made from square section 1" material as per the chassis.
