I'll check when I get home, but I think it was around 6 lengths of 25mm sq., about 2 lengths of 19mm sq. and 2 of 19mm round.

Don't hold me to it - I'll look at my receipts over the weekend.

Opps - forgot to say - try and find a supplier who'll deliver (I paid about £5 extra for that), and remember that the steel usually comes with a dirty, greasy coating for rust prevention.

Mike,

If it's any use I ordered 8 off 1" square, 2 off 3/4" round, 1 off 2"x1" (only coz I thought I'd find a use for it - which I haven't) and an 8' x 4' sheet of 16swg. My trans tunnel is inch square.

My chassis is almost complete and I still have one and a half of the inch sq left.

As for your father-in-law doing the order - ensure you get receipt. I believe you need it for registration/sva etc - others I'm sure will confirm or otherwise.
