There is really only one guy for engine packages

yorkshire engines

thought he had his own site somewhere..

Malc will help answer and supply almost anything you need.

if you get the same clocks then it would probably be easier but there are loads of dash instruments avilable if you dont like them. digi dash seems popular, mine is the veypor vr2. loads are available though so have a good look around before you buy. have you had a look at the mnr vortx too? very nice and chris and marc are top blokes and very helpful!

Yep, they'll just ring Malc at Yorkshire Engines (as above). Best to just go direct - I got my R1 engine from Malc and couldn't recommend him enough.

Just go straight to Malc at Yorkshire Engines, I actually bought my engine through my kit supplier but he had supplied it to them; even though he didn't sell it to me he still helped me out when I had some technical problems

Go to Malc at Yorkshire Engines.

You might find one cheaper on the bay-of-e but you won't get the back up or any comeback should it be knackered.

I would have gone with your 1st choice of engine, but if your going for the gsxr1000,just make sure you don't pay over the odds for the engine,Ely motor cycle spares sell the the k4 gsxr1000's for £950 with all running gear.

As Paul say's any 2004 engine can't be worth over 1k anymore, there 5 years old now, it seems some people are holding the prices of bike engines higher than they should be.

beware of the low mileage engines that you get too hear about, there seems to be loads floating around without clocks that have done less than 4k
i don't know any bikers that do less than 800 miles a year on there bike, and how exactly can they be mint when the bikes been down the road on it's side!!
a few new covers and clean up, and everyone's fooled in to thinking they bought a minter.

Hi

Think i was chatting to you at the show???

glad you went for the Indy,

yep k4 older engine now and should be sub 1k,

did he not have any R1 engines in then, or did he talk you into the k4 engine,

if i was going suzuki i would go for the busa, as i think you was going to be using it more on the road than the track,

bit more money but well worth it,

but if chjoice between k4 and R1 go for the r1 injected model should be around £1200 for one easy,

also speak to MK as they can supply engines aswell,

unless you are buying new you will never know the true history of the engine some last no probs some blow even the ones supplied by malc as some can vouch for on this site, so just do as much research as possible on the engine you can and try to get the original clocks etc.

still good luck nice choice what clour will it be then?????

Heres a busa engine?

Even better still in bike can see it running good price?
