Just looked at the original thread.

Great big "why" from me I'm afraid.

If you're building a Big Healey, then just build a Big Healey.

It's close enough to one to be recognisable as being along those lines, but far enough away to 'not work'.

Great workmanship as ever with MK.
Flawed concept I'm afraid.

For ideas on reclothing your existing chassis and being inspired by classic designs whilst doing it without nearly hitting the mark and missing, see here.

If I may repeat myself, if you're doing a Big Healey, just do a Big Healey and be done with it.

In my opinion.

i like the idea but like others i can't quite see the point and i'd spend forever polishing out the scratches you'll put in it dragging your feet over the sides getting in and out!

built a car, built a home, had a family. lost the family, lost the home, still got the car.

Looks very bland and uninteresting to me.
Cant see it having much appeal, id rather see something much more modern - like a Fulcrum competitor.

It's one of those, that's "each to their own". I think there are other ways that I'd have my car, but if I already had an Indy and fancied a change, it would be pretty cool...
