finally finished my boot lid,took me ages to get it just right but really pleased with end results

carbon panel was supplied by Steve Hignett top bloke and great work! cardboard template was made then trial and error until i plucked up the balls to cut it out of the carbon sheet all fitted over the origional MK boot,im well happy with the end results ALL REAL CARBON

Lewis, it looks a million dollars matey!!!

Interesting that you went with the converging "V" going backwards, in my head I had it going forwards, but I think it looks better your way!!!!!!!!!!!

Arrrrhhh steve you spotted my deliberate mistake! I covered the panel in masking tape and not till I made the first cut I realised!

Sorry to drag an old thread back up - but just wanted to comment on such a nice quality job you've made on your boot panel...

I'm in the process of making a replacement for mine, and if it turns out anything like yours - I'll be happy!
