With the 1800 sump i had 72mm, i now have the tiger ERA sump which makes the bellhouse the lowest point.

I will have a measure tomorow and get back to you Rescued attachment sump 72mm clearance.jpg

I chopped my blacktop sump to give about 75mm of clearance. I've driven it quite a bit & over loads of speed bumps with no grounding problems.

With new tiger ERA sump the ground clearance is now 135mm with the bellhouse being the lowest point at 110mm.

The 1800 sump i used previous didnt cause any problems with regular speed humps, i had to be a bit carefull with the humps that are placed in the centre of the road though.

As you can see from earlier picture the new sump does make a lot of difference and makes other objects often found on the road less worrying. Rescued attachment cousins newlands 19th oct 081172.JPG
