ZX9 pick up pipe feet

Look in my photos and see if u think my idea would work basically just thinking that instaed of welding feet tothe bottom of the sump could just cut away all the plastic exept the three places where the pipe sits on the feet giving you three easy to make plastic feet
Look at my photos it's hard to explain.
Thabks for any advice

I just drilled the flats where the pads sit on the pick-up and screwed self tappers in. This allows you to adjust the height of the pick-up so it sits on the floor of the sump but still allows clearance.

be careful with the screws as ali is reactive and if ir rubs alot some metals react away I doubt this will aply here more for boat chains etc. any way ended up filing as in file-ing away all the excess plastic to form 3 perfectly even plastic feet see my photos for some crappy pictures of it.
