Power commanders, speedo healers and TRE's
Putting together a bit of a christmas list. I know i need a power comander to get through the IVA and i will also need a speedo healer to get the
speedo accurate. If i get a power comander do i need a TRE? Is there anything that can do all 3 in one unit?

There is no unit that can do all those three in one. In fact I don't think theres a unit available that could manage two in one.
What engine do you have?

Why do you need a power commander? What does it do?

The Power Commander allows you to adjust the fuelling on a FI engine. However, there is now a new module available for Suzukis from
HealTech Electronics Ltd (The company that manufactures the Speedohealer and GIPro gear indicator)
called the FI Tuner Pro that will do the same job as the Power Commander which is definitely worth looking at and considering.
If it's anything like HealTechs other products, then it is sure to be good Norbert certainly knows his stuff

Thanks Phil, looks like a good bit of kit and cheaper than a power comander too. How does it compare to the power comander, is it just as good?

Having never used one, I've no idea but after reading the instructions it does what the powercommander does and also appears to be easier to
use. If it was me who had to make the decision, I'd definitely opt for the FI Tuner over the Powercommander. HealTechs products are superb
IMO.

Also check out the DynaPro Interceptor....
Tbh not sure I'd bother with a TRE - had one on my old GSXR & didn't seem to make a huge difference
You can get the standard ECU remapped but, obviously then you're stuck with those settings unless you have it remapped again

I thought that the easiest way to get a Busa through the IVA (emmissions) was to lower the Fuel pressure in the rail using the Fuel pressure
regulator. Think it makes it run lean for the test.
