Bec radiator

Hi lads looking for advice on a fairly cheap rad for
a 929 blade locost. Would a rad out of a small hatchback do
my job?

Usual polo or something similar

Think about it, think about it again and then do it.

I used a Clio. Works very well.
The hose connections line up nicely.

Rad

Hi
We also used a polo rad & fan, works fine
This one

Had to cut off small outlet at the top L/h side & araldited a screw in the hole as we did not require it for our layout.

This is perfect and cheap too!
My car will be for track only, do ya think I would need a fan seeing most
Race cars I've seen don't?

We used a Polo rad on our Phoenix 929. If you haven't got any fans yet you might like to consider Aprilia RSV fans. Smaller and slimmer. We paid a tenner for one and eight quid for the other. The Polo fan might be easier though.
