HAS ANYBODY ELSE SEEN THE NEW DIGI-DASH DESIGN, IF SO IS IT AS GOOD AS THE FIRST.?

Yes - not sure where though.

the buttons are the same but the overall design looks a *lot* better

Much better. Silver case can be anodised in other colours (black, gold, red, blue etc)

Agreed. No offence intended to the guys at CustomAutoTech but it no longer looks like the output of an engineering workshop. Not quite iPod stylish but much better.

Alistair (CustomAutotech) had a big hand in developing this one too though, its not as though ETB took the DD1 from him and did the new version all on their own

I'm sure he did - the comment wasn't meant to be derogatory to their talents. However, you have to admit that the original case was more functional rather than designer.

This new model should apeal to a larger audience (i.e. more than just the stripped out racer crowd)
