Got a solution to chopping sump

Hi

Found some bodywork from Leugo which is 2inch higher than normal body work for locost which should take care of the problem of having the sump chopped .

Thanks Chris

Mistral chopped mine, put the drain on the side, modfied the pickup, supplied a baffle and new gaskets.
Well worth the 150 notes if your worried about it hanging down as it does!

Its mainly only done for clearance benefits, with regular Locost bodywork you'll struggle to get it under the bonnet and not be virtually dragging the ground without a sump chop. Whilst its being chopped you can also have a few baffles added which will help keep oil around the pickup in a BEC installation, so there are other benefits too.
If you need it done then gimme a shout as my uncle has done several ZX9's now, including Jaspers, for £50 including modding the pickup, putting in baffles and putting the drain plug on the side.
I think Jasper has some pics in his gallery if you want to have a look.

Stuart Taylor do billet machined sumps for the ZX9. I think they're about £120 (check their web-site for details).

But it sounds like Chris' uncle is your best bet if your counting the pennies!
