There are so many good car Movies depends on what you want a couple of aussie one's good for a hoot are "the cars that ate Paris" and of course Mad Max (the original) I loved the previously mentioned Bullitt for those of a more vintage bent there is always "genivive " about a 1905 darraq and the london to brighton

I can't believe that no-one has mentioned;

The Blues Brothers

got to be the most car smashes in any film!

There were two versions of Vanishing Point. The original being the best.

Gone in sixty seconds - original 70's movie.
If you love car movies then you must have at least one Herbie film.

Gumball Rally a sequel to Cannonball Run.

Don't forget the Burt Reynolds film Stroker Ace!

Alright, alright, forget Stroker Ace, it was terrible!

Winning, where you get to see Paul Newman Driving a Can-AM car at the beginning

Abgefahren features a Pilgrim "Cobra Replica" (with neon lights ). Might be available in Germany only.

Manta, der Film is also 'sehr lustig'. The acting is probably the worst you will ever see...
