Locost Calculator

LOCOST CALCULATOR

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to drive your Locost (more than once but less than 10)

2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)

3. Add 5

4. Multiply it by 50 -- I'll wait while you get the calculator

5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1760 ..
If you haven't, add 1759..

6... Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number

The first digit of this was your original number
(i.e., how many times you want to drive your Locost each week).

The next two numbers are YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!)

N = 2..9

2N = 4..18

2N + 5 = 9..23

50(2N + 5) = 100N + 250 = (450,500,550..1150)

250 + 1760 = 2010 (this year!)
2010 - the year you were born = your age!

If you haven't had your birthday this year:

250 + 1759 = 2009 (last year!)
2009 - the year you were born = your age!

^^ what he said and it also woks for 0, 1 and 10....

I though the *2 then *50 was a bit of a give away... (X*2*50 = X*100 = last digit)

Lol, very good.

Here's how it breaks down;

The original equation is:

50(2x+5)+1760-y

where x is your first number and y is the year you were born.

=> 100x+250+1760-y
=> 100x+2010-y

100x puts your number in the hundreds column.
2010 (this year) minus the year you were born is your age (duh)

Party pooped.
