IIRC I used a 1600 Sierra clutch on my 1600 xflow. My local motor factors were very helpful

When I swapped from a Type 2 to a Type 9 I only changed 2 components, the drive plate from one with a 7/8" 20 spline centre to one with a 1" 23 spline centre plus the release bearing to a standard 5 speed one. Got the clutch plate from Burton since I am pretty sure Ford never actually did one. Not cheap but a simple solution.

Don't forget the speedo cable, the 4 speed one is too short.
