Wheel/hub/brake assembly

Hi Everyone!

I'm designing a "LeMans style" locost proto, (Like Radical or Funyo cars) and now I am in the early stages of the suspension design.

At first, I'm trying to draw the whole wheel/hub/brake assembly and place it in the desired position, to have a good start point to design the suspension.

I have already chosen the main components (tyre, rim and brakes) but I recognize I am really lost in assembling everything (and also with the hub selection). I have already worked as engineer (but not in this field of automotive), so I know it is not so easy as put everything together in the CAD software.

So, could someone give me some links/pdf or just an explanation to figure out how all the parts are fitted together??

Thank you very much!

P.S: I am spanish, and my english is far from being the best of the world, so if you don't understand anything, feel free to tell me!

If someone has the same question I have, searching in youtube for "how-to-change-brake-rotors" videos can be a good solution.

There are a lot of videos about this topic for several different car models.

This one is about the Opel/Vauxhall Astra (the car I am interested in) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRxMUvJA7hQ
