Zetec sump, which one?

Which sump would people recommend for a 2.0l zetec?

Pardon my ignorance, but Blacktop or Sivertop Zetec, does it need to be chopped to give more ground clearance in a kit car or is it going in a road car as a replacement.

there was a post on here not long ago about ones for racing I will try to look it up and post the link.

I looked into this in great detail and went for the Raceline one, not cheap but the quality and fit is excellent - plus they're off the shelf no need to wait for yours to be modified.

have a search on this site, i ended up doing the homemade version that other people have done with my blacktop.
Basically chop off the big bit, weld it onto the other side and weld a flat plate across the whole lot.
Ends up with the same capacity but half the height.
Obviously you will need to shorten the pick up also, i did this by simply chopping out a section and rewelding from the original
