todays progress

Today I managed to do some work on rear uprights and thought I share this with you.
After 11 hours of milling one upright finished and another needs hour and a half more machining. I will finish it tomorrow . Rescued attachment Rear upright machining.JPG

Very nice but can't realy tell how good they are from pictures so could you send them to me for a personal evaluation? I promise i will send them back after a few years

WOW are they machined from a solid block of (looks like steel). Must be a lot of waste material (is the boss paying for that as well)

Yes, it was solid block of steel, weighing 35 kg and now its down to 2.2 kg. Thats a lot of chips.

You machined them out of solid steel! I really don't know what to say. They are beautiful pieces of work but the phrase over the top doesn't come close.
