Just go with something that you want and something that fits. Not all mountingbrackets/calipers fit properly out of the box.

You get a 4-pot caliper with small pistons.
You get 2-pot calipers with larger pistons.
For the same piston surface and the same pad surface you MUST choose the 4-pot option just because the braking force is distributed a lot more evenly on the brake pad.
Just reminded me some "rice" friends of mine who think that fitting giant 8-pot calipers to a Fiat Punto will break the Nordschleife record!

just swapped my M16 calipers for wilwood's.
Not yet driven it but i had to mod the front wing brackets to fit them, and space my 13's out 8mm to clear them.

Hoping for a large improvement, cost enough.

using the search function unfortunately I could not find anything about the unsprunch weight saving of the wilwood powerlite vs the m16. does anybody know how much the difference is ?
I have a set to replace the M16's with but not sure to fit them or not as they also have no dust seals too.
cheers
Jos

i bought some vented m16's and didn't agree with the weight of them as soon as i picked it up.
Now got the Wilwood midilite M16's and they weigh nothing near the ford items.
well worth it in my eyes
