Sidescreen plastic

Hello chaps, not posted for awhile (mainly work), however I'm now thinking of making some sidescreens. Can anyone recommend an ideal plastic thickness and or a particular type of plastic?

I used 2mm poycarbonate with an alloy part frame. This is really a bit thin, but it is nice and light [and cheap]. I would ideally go with 4mm.

I went with B+Q's best 4mm polyC cos that's what some builders dumped outside my garage
