Hip hip Hooray for Mr SVA :D

In case you didn't guess from the title. The nice man at the SVA passed me today on my re-test now I have a different engine in I can prove the age of. (a downgrade from tuned 4.2 to bog standard 3.5)

Went directly from there to the DVLA where another nice man inspected my car and helped fill in all the paperwork and I have been promised a tax disk and documents to get plates for the weekend so I can start driving it around on Sunday (1st of the month).

Today I am a happy bunny.

Mark

Thanks for all your congratulations. I am well happy!

I am armed with AA membership now ready for when I break it

When is Donnington show? I will do my best to get there.

Putting the 4.2 back in... Well it would be rude to do that straight away after the effort it took to get the 3.5 in. Plus the 3.5 is in very good condition except for a tappety rattle that one person has told me is a valve and someone else tappets. I have reconned heads on my other 3.5 (yes it has taken 3 engines to get this far) so I am considering fixing the good 3.5 first so I have a good clean engine with proof of age etc. to sell on again to try to re-coup some costs.
