Velocity Progress

I know....sad but I had to tell someone..the wife doen't want to know!

In fact she said why not go and live in the garage! Hmmm I thought trouble is no room for a bed!

I decided to tackle a job I had been putting off for months fitting the rear panel... Every noise as I was pushing it on I thought was going to end up in a crack but to my surprise it fitted a treat after some fetling!

So engine is in, brakes are on, diff, prop, scuttle, seat, wiring loom in but not connected, fuel lines, ....all done...the list goes on....Just need to wire up and get and exhaust then I might actually get it started. Great feeling the I can see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Just make sure the wife doesn't turn that light off!!!

Well done, every job done is that much closer to finishing.

its true,

it really is a great feeling when you get close to the starting step, but believe me when i say you are still a long way away! when you get all the big stuff done its the one million and one little things that you need to do to get that bad boy ready for sva, it takes a week to read the manual!!!!

all the best, the light can only get bigger!!!

p.s got any pics, its always nice to see others builds

Trust me, you do not need an exhaust for first run.

The fuel lines are new but from the US...and the oil lines are from a nascar again from the US.....The lot cost £140.00
which I thought was quite good!

The motor is from a 500 mile written off focus ST170 with throttle bodies from a 2.0 micra rally car.
