Velocity development - at last

Hi,

I realise that a lot of people will be getting stuff done during the fantastic four day holiday but I thought I'd post some pictures of my car now that I have made some progress at long last.

I have few of them in the post but here are a few of the highlights:

Looking good there Steve.

Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

Steve...really spooky! it feels that I am looking at my own build in a lot of cases!

I have done many things in the same way.... The extension for the gear lever, the nose cone hinge etc etc etc..

nice job!

I made the dash out of carbon effect plastic from esp plastics.

I know the purists get offended by abs type plastic but it looks good and is easy to use.

I did use the 4mm version for the dash and then stuck it to aluminium sheet for extra strength. It is still flexible. I have bought some thinner sheet for things like the wheel arch protectors and the rear shelf/boot cover. Subsequently changed my mind on the rear shelf though due to potential petrol problems.
