Camshaft lift

Touchy subject I know but I remember a discussion some time ago where someone said the legal lift on a camshaft was 9mm.

In the Haynes manual it says the lift is approx 6mm, which is what I measured on my 1300GT.

So is 9mm wrong, or do I need to replace the camshaft? With a Kent Cam (as per the regs)?

Ahhhhh no, I understand the confusion - what was checked at Donnington was the lift at the valve so you have to include the rocker ratio.......which I can't remember exactly of the top of my head - what you have sounds right.

Cheers
