can you tell me if an eng with no number will pass sva (stolen recoverd number ground off ) can get bill of sale is that ok ? LENNY

I believe that you can negotiate a new engine number with your local vehicle licensing office.

I guess that proof of ownership would be a good start

You need engine number to prove age - important if you don't want Cat/LAMBDA etc.

But apart from that, doesn't matter - my V5 has n/a as engine number, even though mine had a number (?)

This has been discussed a few times - may be best to knock in another set of numbers off a scrap engine, for completeness.

it is a 1200 bandit lump no carbs ,clutch or ecu (carbs on ebay £50 clutch ? ecu ?) £275 for eng is cheep but add all the rest up poss £450 not a bad price me think LENNY
