rover 1400 engine oil
Just a quicky, a bloke at work needs to drop and change the engine oil in his rover. Any suggestions for a run of the mill oil?
Needs to be from a shop and fairly cheap.
Oh and I ask because I've only ever had oil burners before

I used Halfords 10W 40 Semi synthetic in mine. Around £20.

A lot depends how often the car is being serviced for the later 15,000 mile Rover standard oil change interval you really want to use full synth but
semi synth will do.
10W/40 or 5w/30 or 5w/40 at a pinch 15w/40.
Tesco have some good deals on oil as do Morrisions petrol stations.
