To be fair, we should all be cheering him on, just to give the scots a taste of their own medicine. However im equally proud to be british as english

Oh dear... did any of the Scots on LCB put up posts to cheer on English opponents during the WC???
I didn't se any "COME ON AMERICA", "COME ON ALGERIA", "COME ON SLOVENIA", or "COME ON GERMANY"
threads!
And there was me thinking that the English didn't do this sort of thing!

Well I hope Murray wins, Brit, Scot, whatever - he's in danger of thinking he'll never win if he doesn't land a big one soon. The
'never won by a Brit' for 70 odd years record is not a proud one.

Well I don't want to lower my self to the level of the racist Scots "Anyone but England" slogan for the World Cup.
So I will also say come on Murray get that Wimbledon win for Britain.

I agree - LCB is no place for this kind of crap.
I lived in Scotland for years and hated the anti english thing - although loved most other things. But I don't hold a grudge and would hope we
can all lead by example on here.
