Which 32" HD LCD TV?
Guys,
My parents are looking for new TV.
They currently have a 21" CRT - 
Looking to get a 32" HD LCD - any recommendations?
I've looked at this
TOSHIBA but any other
recommendations?
Looking to spend a max of £250.

I've had a Samsung 32" LED for a couple of years and the picture (Freeview) is superb. Highly recommend one.

If you get one of these, make sure it's compatible with your sky remote - I've got one and this drives me bonkers because you can't
turn the sound up or down from the sky remote (the code is not available for the remote).
Also, if you're planning on connecting this to your sky box via an HDMI cable check that you can before you purchase. I keep getting and error
about HDCP is not supported on this device.
They're ok for the money, but if I could turn the clock back, I would.

Usually there is a code that will work, even if it's not in the official database. Useful list
of codes.

The biggest difference is the tv guide software. Panasonic TVs are great in this respect.

We always stuck with Sony, but now I prefer the Samsung picture quality, they are really good !
We got my parents one last year, they wanted a 32 but I talked them into the 40, now my old man can read the tv guide etc.
It will look huge to them for a week or two, but then they will love it.

I have to admit I've only ever has Samsung and Toshiba TV's.
Quite like the look of THIS
PANASONIC though, built in Freeview HD too.

try and find one that does the full hd (1920x1080)
the ebuyer one is only 1366 x 768 Resolution
and the panasonic one is only 720
edit: the first one you linked to is 1080

fwiw, panasonic may be in financial difficulty, bear that in mind wrt warantee.

theres no point paying for a full HD tv if you dont have a full hd source!
HD broadcast (sky/freeview hd) is 1080i so a hd tv would do the job.if you need any help with things,let me know.we do quite a lot of av stuff at work

32" is a great size tv to get. Do they already have a digital tuner? Have you thought about getting one with freesat/freeview hd built in?
Samsung seem to make some really nice monitors at the minute.

My 1080p 32" technika has started getting blocky pixelly with movements, not a clue what causes it, I reckon it's virgin media!
Absolutely perfect connected to the PS3 so as long as you have a good feed technika is perfect. Only cost £230

Managed to find this SAMSUNG with full HD and
FreeviewHD built in.
Had a look at one yesterday and seem pretty good.
My folks already have a Freeview recorder (non HD) but I'm sure they'll upgrade to a HD one later on!
