Road legal at last

Great feeling. Got the log book for my Haynes today. 2.0L Silvertop and type 9. Just need the plates fitted and get out in it. I waited over three weeks for Swansea to do their thing . The forecast is crap for the next few days though.

Fantastic achievement and a great feeling when it all comes together.

Hope you get some decent weather to have a play and learn about the car (go easy!).

It took 3 weeks for me, then had it on the road only 3 weeks and some t**t reversed into me when i was in mcdonalds and done off. It's still drivable though and the CCTV in Police hands so here's hoping!!

Gaz you may get some good weather. I was over Hartside yesterday and weather was quite good!!

Hartside will be on the cards sometime soon Neil.

It's had it's first outing today. Pretty pleased with it. Slight weave in certain situations but I've got an idea what that is. Very very grippy on roundabouts etc. Not the kick up the pants performance I thought it might have. My acewell has a 0-62 timer so of course I had to try it. Best I could do was 7.5 seconds

It has also had it's first drenching. Last ten miles home it lashed down. Luckily I had decided to wear all my bike gear and lid.
