Sierra 3.62 Open Diff

I have a Sierra 3.62 Open Diff for sale.

It has done just 500 miles since it was fitted as a reconditioned 3.62 with LSD ( I have receipt). I have now removed the LSD and put that into a different re-conditioned 3.38 diff.

The seals and bearings are all good, the outer casing is in great condition. The backlash has been set up correctly by the engineer who rebuilt my 3.38 (now with LSD!).

Offers?

Sale was agreed at £100, but then fell through as buyer wanted a push-in drive shaft.

I am not sure what type it is - bolt on or push-in. How would `i know?

That is a push-in diff, the splined driveshafts push into the holes where the oil seals / bearings are.

The bolt-on diffs have flanges mounted like this:

Hi

I'm after a 3.62 for my Caterham, so the push in type. Can you post a picture of the diff please?
Would you be OK to post it?

Thanks

Simon

Pictures attached. 7" push in diff.

I have receipt from when it was reconditioned in 2012 and fitted to car. Since done 500 miles. Will provide for buyer.

LSD removed and put into my 3.38. Classic Conversions in Rotherham removed the LSD and prepared this 3.62 for resale (re-greased and backlash set).

I will post - cost me £25 with Yodel to send to Classic Conversions so will be the same.

£100 + £25 postage
